A world frozen in porcelain, the Napoleon III Pheasant Collection brings together a suite of decorative objects united by a single, arresting vision: wild pheasants moving through a landscape of marigolds, mushrooms, cascading berries and monarch butterflies, rendered against a deep black ground framed in luminous chrome yellow.

The collection embodies the spirit of 19th-century French decorative arts at its most theatrical.
